  • $41/HR
TRAVEL WITH HOUSING
  • $32/HR
TRAVEL NO HOUSING/SPLIT PAY
  • $20/hr (taxable) + $960(tax-free) $1560/40hours (20/24-44)
Job Description:

Conduct and coordinate the completion of timely and accurate Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, Care Area Assessments (CAAs), and Care Plans. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including RAI process requirements. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans based on resident assessments. Monitor and track Medicare and Medicaid documentation to ensure accuracy and reimbursement compliance. Submit MDS data to CMS in a timely manner; review validation reports and correct errors as needed. Educate staff and provide support regarding RAI processes, documentation, and resident care planning. Work closely with the billing and reimbursement teams to support accurate claims and audits. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities related to clinical documentation and resident care planning. Maintain updated knowledge of regulations related to RAI processes, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and facility policies. Report directly to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Nursing Home Administrator (NHA), depending on facility structure.

Qualifications:

Active RN License in the state of Pennsylvania (required). Previous MDS experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (preferred). Strong working knowledge of RAI guidelines, PDPM, and CMS regulations . Familiarity with MDS software systems (e.g., PointClickCare, MatrixCare, etc.). Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT) from AANAC is preferred but not required . Requirements Resume Current
