• ICU/PCU for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in State College, PA.

Job Function:

Night Shift. 3×12. Deliver patient care using the principles of Relationship-Centered Care and the nursing process, grounded in theory, research, and evidence-based practice. Assess and evaluate patient needs, applying critical thinking in the management of care. Prioritize patient care by coordinating teaching, rounding, coaching, and discharge planning, while delegating tasks appropriately. Educate patients and caregivers about the care plan, transitions of care, health promotion, and disease prevention based on their needs and readiness to learn.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current RN license in the state of New Jersey. 2 years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown RN experience required; ICU/CCU background strongly preferred but not mandatory. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association.
