Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in Nursery and Couplet Care for a night shift contract assignment. The RN will provide care for newborns and their mothers, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during the post-partum period.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in the nursery and couplet care settings. Monitor and assess infant health, including feeding, vitals, and bonding processes. Educate and support new mothers on postnatal care and breastfeeding. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Accurately document patient care using the facility’s EMR system.

Requirements:

Active PA RN License (must be currently active). Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience in Nursery/Couplet Care.

Certifications:

BLS/BCLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). Must be able to work every other weekend and cover holiday shifts as needed.
