Requirements:

• Current State License.
• Minimum ofone-year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospitalwithin the last three years required.
• Completion of AHA ACLSProvider Course within 12 months of employment required.
• CCRNpreferred.
• Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ERmedical/surgical patients is preferred.
• Associate`s Degree or BSNrequired.

Responsibilities:

• Thenursing process of assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementingand evaluating is the basis for all delivery of care by theprofessional nurse.
• The registered nurse is accountable fordirect patient care and for supervising the care provided byprofessional and ancillary personnel.
• The registered nurseassesses the plans for the educational needs of the patient andfamily that will contribute to the maintenance or restoration ofhealth status on discharge.
• As a member of the health team, theregistered nurse implements the nursing plan, coordinates with themedical plan and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinaryteam.
• Professionalism is demonstrated by quality of care,leadership and in continued professional growth and development.
• Quality assurance endeavors are implemented through and with thenursing team.
