2 4.2 out of 5 stars Meadville, PA WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Meadville, PA. Travelers can earn up to $2,200 per week for this role.
Job Function:
Night Shift. 3×12. Prepares and administers prescribed medications (orally, subcutaneously, or via IV) and accurately documents their administration. Reports any adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with policies and nursing standards. Educates patients about surgical procedures and their care plans. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs accurately. Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interpreting and recording electronic displays as needed.
Job Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current State RN license or willingness to obtain. 1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialty. BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
