Key Organizational Focus:

Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive nursing assessment within 8 hours of patient admission Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patient/family and interdisciplinary team Participate in weekly team conferences to share patient updates Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Focus on patient/family education throughout the hospital stay Initiate discharge planning on day of admission and provide discharge teaching Communicate patient status changes promptly to physicians and nursing team Seek guidance from senior staff when managing complex clinical decisions Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff Ensure a safe and clean work environment in compliance with hospital policies Foster a team-oriented and supportive unit culture Report needs for supplies, equipment, or staff training to management Provide cost-effective care while promoting quality patient outcomes May take on Charge Nurse responsibilities after orientation Engage in ongoing professional development through CE and self-study Prioritize and organize time efficiently to meet patient needs Perform additional duties as assigned ? Required & Preferred Qualifications BLS Certification

• Required prior to first shift ACLS Certification
• Required for CIRH units only Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience
