Summary Are you a compassionate, skilled nurse ready to make a real difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health crises? Join our dedicated Behavioral Health team as a Mental Health Crisis Intervention Nurse and play a vital role in providing rapid, lifesaving care to those in immediate psychological distress. Responsibilities As a Mental Health Crisis Intervention Nurse, you’ll be on the front lines of providing psychiatric care and intervention in a 24-hour Crisis Walk-In Center.

Your responsibilities will include:

Rapidly assessing patients in acute mental health clients Providing de-escalation, therapeutic interventions, and medication administration Collaborating with crisis intervention staff, physicians, and first responders Supporting patients and families with crisis counseling and discharge planning Maintaining detailed clinical documentation Ensuring a safe and supportive care environment for all Requirements Active LPN or RN license in the state of Pennsylvania. 1-2 years in mental health nursing, psychiatric, or emergency nursing preferred. Strong crisis management skills with the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
