The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, effective communication, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing various procedures. Duties Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available. Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during operations by providing instruments and supplies as needed. Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify any potential risks or complications related to surgery. Implement infection control protocols to minimize the risk of postoperative infections. Document all nursing interventions, patient responses, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records. Operate C-Arm, fluoroscope, under guidance/in conjunction with Surgeon. Skills Circulate and Scrub for surgical procedures. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and monitoring vital signs effectively. Experience and understanding of protocols related to surgical procedures. Operate C-Arm, fluoroscope, under guidance/in conjunction with Surgeon. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership when necessary.
