What You’ll Do:

As the Wound Care Nurse,you’ll be responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring woundconditions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Yourcare planning and interventions will improve wound healing andenhance the comfort and quality of life our residents. You will bepractitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator toraise the overall quality of care to individuals with complex woundcare needs. Key Responsibilities Provide oversight and expertise ofwound care and prevention program for residents and staff Conductcomprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized careplans for patients exhibiting skin complications Provide directwound care interventions, including dressing changes, debridement,and wound irrigation Review, update and direct the implementationof wound care & prevention policies and procedures Monitor woundhealing progress and evaluate the effectiveness of treatmentmodalities Educate residents, families, and staff on wound careprotocols and prevention strategies Collaborate with physicians,wound care specialists, and other healthcare professionals tocoordinate care Maintain accurate documentation of woundassessments, interventions, and outcomes for regulartory complianceand reimbursement If you are a vigilant, detail-oriented,healthcare professional whose personal mission is safeguarding theworld from barriers to wound healing, we encourage you to join ourteam as a Wound Care Nurse! What You’ll Bring:

Qualifications of a Wound CareNurse include: Valid state RN nursing license Degree in nursing,epidemiology, biology, microbiology preferred 2 years in wound caremanagement, preferably in a Long-Term Care setting Familiar withresearch-backed wound care and cleansing products Certified WoundCare Nurse (CWCN) Certification preferred Strong clinicalassessment, organizational, and critical thinking skills Compassionand empathy in caring for residents with complex wound care needsInterest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically illwith the ability to work with both Excellent communication andinterpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in amultidisciplinary team environment•: We Hire for Heart!
