Followsnursing department philosophies, policies and procedures to developunique education and care plans for each patient and provideappropriate education and support for family members. Utilizesjudgment, knowledge and understanding of patient and family needswhen directing ancillary staff. The Float Pool is a criticalcomponent of supplemental staffing resources across departments.

The Float Pool RN is maintained as a member of the 4thfloor/Telemetry staff at CHH and must function across departmentsin the role of a critical care RN. This role requires establishedexperience and knowledge across variable areas and acuity. FloatPool Staff RNS are trained and work across variable departments(ED, ICU, Telemetry & Med-Surg).

Qualifications Qualifications:

Maintains current license as a Registered Nurse in the State ofConnecticut Bachelor’s degree in field of Nursing preferred.
