Job Overview Key Responsibilities :

Patient Care :

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse group of adult and geriatric patients with medical-surgical and telemetry diagnoses, including conditions such as cardiac, pulmonary, renal, gastrointestinal, and post-surgical cases (e.g., cholecystectomy, appendectomy, vascular procedures). Manage patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring efficient unit operations and positive patient outcomes. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage treatments, adhering to therapeutic standards and hospital policies. Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage cardiac drips (e.g., amiodarone, cardizem, heparin) for telemetry patients, with basic arrhythmia knowledge required. Document patient care accurately in the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining continuity of care using Nurse Knowledge Exchange techniques and SBAR communication. RTO•auto-approval 7 days or less (outside of holidays). Anything more requires facility approval 1 year experience required , however please refer to job description for any exceptions made depending on the unit Valid PA License or Compact License COVID Vaccination Status required / Booster Status required No Radius Rule 2 Supervisor references preferred Local candidates accepted at the travel rate Candidates will float within hospital when needed No Specific Charting Experience Required Any Permanent Employee must be gone for at least 6 months Modules are non billable. Excela requires these modules to be completed for any clinical staff prior to entering the facility (students, interns, residents, temp staff, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

Hospital or clinical exp within the last 1 year. PA RN license in hand and BLS.
