Travel JobDescription As a post-anesthesia care unit nurse (RN PACU), youwill provide short-term care to patients immediately followingsurgery, from 30 minutes to several hours post-op. Patientobservation is essential to your job, including regularly takingvitals, ensuring proper breathing, and administering oxygen or painmedication when necessary. You may also care for patients in thepre-op setting managing their needs and preparing them for surgery.
In this role, you must quickly respond to any change in a patient’scondition, beginning CPR if necessary. Minimum Requirements
- Atleast 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
