Observe for physical and/or emotional changes in pient’s condition from prescribed medicions/trements, promptly and accurely documenting noted changes, and report any deviions from normal to MD/DO. Perform support duties for complex diagnostic tests and/or specialized practices or procedures, which include preparing the pient, assisting in the diagnostic examinion, preparing and handling specialized instruments or other specialized equipment, and monitoring the pient’s condition before, during, and following the procedure. Serve as a preceptor in orienting, educing, and training less experienced RNs/LPNs/LVNs or NAs/HTs reled to support duties for these more complex, specialized tests/procedures. Responsible for a variety of administrive tasks to include but not limited to; telephone triage, assessment and evaluion, critical thinking, computer entry, time management, pient advoce, being a team player of the interdisciplinary team, counselling, answering MyHealthVet requests, performing chart audits, triaging consults and etc. Utilize the Computer Pient Record System (CPRS), pyxis and/or the Bar Code Medicion Administrion (BCMA) software per policy and accurely document in CPRS the pient findings, assessments, and care provided.
