Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN)

• Medical Surgical for a day-shift contract opportunity in North Providence, RI .

The ER nurse will provide urgent and trauma-level care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced emergency department. Prior travel nursing experience is required. The ideal candidate is confident in rapid assessment, critical care intervention, and patient stabilization.

Responsibilities:

Deliver prompt, effective, and compassionate care to patients in emergency situations Assess patient conditions and triage based on medical necessity Administer IV fluids, medications, and emergency interventions Collaborate with emergency physicians and the trauma team Monitor patients and document condition changes in real-time EMR Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families Maintain emergency room readiness and adhere to infection control protocols

Certifications & Requirements:

Required Certifications:

BLS

• American Heart Association ACLS

• American Heart Association Preferred Certification:

  PALS

American Heart Association Licensure:

Active Rhode Island RN License or valid Multistate Compact RN License (eNLC)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years Strong MS experience
