$70.00/hr Responsibilities Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms, interpreting telemetry data to identify any changes or complications. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care. Perform basic life support (BLS) procedures as needed and assist in urgent care situations. Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Assist in catheterization procedures when necessary, maintaining a sterile environment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in telemetry nursing or related inpatient settings is preferred. Proficiency in trauma medicine and urgent care practices is a plus. Familiarity with ICD-9 coding is beneficial for accurate documentation. Ability to perform outpatient procedures such as mammography is a nice-to-have skill. Experience working in nursing homes or similar facilities is advantageous.
