vaccination required Position Summary Athena Medtech is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Antenatal Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery (LDR) or Antepartum care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, a proactive approach to patient care, and a collaborative mindset to ensure high-quality outcomes for expectant mothers. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously monitor individualized patient care plans. Observe, assess, and document maternal and fetal conditions; communicate findings to the care team promptly. Coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure seamless, patient-centered treatment. Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and efficiently. Provide education and emotional support to patients and families throughout the antenatal period. Assist in discharge planning by collaborating with case managers and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications Active RN license in the state of practice. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery or Antepartum care. Proficient in fetal monitoring; C-EFM certification preferred but not required. BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required. Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
