Quality Assurance Nurse Foothills Community Health Care 302 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role is crucial in ensuring that patient care meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. The Quality Assurance Nurse, under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), is responsible for the daily planning, implementing, evaluating, and executing quality measures and activities for primary care practices, monitoring data entry training, as well as preparing and distributing Foothills Community Health Care (FCHC) quality reports. The Quality Assurance Nurse must be flexible in travelling to the (Easley), Anderson and/or Clemson offices as necessary. Duties Supports a team-based environment which motivates and inspires FCHC associates to work collaboratively toward Quality Improvement (QI) goals to improve and exceed desired outcomes. Promotes effective communications between/among individuals/departments related to quality improvement initiatives including PCMH, etc. Provides reports on a regular basis and as directed or requested, keeps senior management informed of the operation and progress of quality improvement efforts. Educates clinical staff regarding individual patient issues and barriers to care identified via MCO roster. Fosters a team-based collaborative environment regarding patient centered care and workflow processes. Maintains patient confidentiality and other duties within HIPAA requirements. Participates in staff development programs required by the company and area of practice. Schedules and coordinates QI related meetings and prepares meeting materials, notes and meeting minutes (which are distributed following the conclusion of these meetings). Performs other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the Chief Operating Officer and/or Chief Medical Officer. Requirements Associate degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably with prior experience in quality assurance or related field. Must have proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrative and clinical staff and the community. Ability to maintain confidential information concerning personal, financial, or medical matters. Demonstrates knowledge and competence in response to quality improvement methodologies. Participates in staff development programs required by the company and area of practice. Assists in the orientation/training of new and current staff. Must be able to work an extended schedule or business hours as necessary.
