Job Summary:
Under general clinical supervision of the District Nursing Coordinator and administrative supervision of the school’s principal / lead administrator, provides nursing care, school-related nursing care coordination, health education, health counseling, health promotion and case finding in the school setting for the purpose of enabling students to participate fully in their educational program.
Qualifications:
RN required/BSN preferred; Current license by the SC Board of Nursing or a compact state for practice as a Registered Nurse; Three (3) years of recent practice in the role of Registered Nurse preferably in school nursing, community health, public health, or pediatric nursing, preferred; CPR/AED certification; Good communication and technology skills Salary is dependent upon relevant experience.
