Unlock yourpotential at Trident Medical Center! Job Summary and QualificationsAs an Ambulatory Care RN, you will provide prepare patients forsurgery, endoscopy, and interventional procedures. This positionalso performs Phase II and III recovery and prepares outpatientsfor discharge. You willbe responsible forassessing, evaluating,planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan andachieving the goals of Ambulatory Care department. What you will doin this role: You will provide prompt assessment of patient uponreturn from OR and/or diagnostic procedure and document findings.
You will provide safe nursing care and a safe environment forpatients and families. You will transcribe and implement physicianorders and document all patient related information. You willadminister medication and IV fluids accurately and safely withinnursing guidelines. You will update/revise plan of care as needed,based on continued assessment of patient. This includes providingcare for patient discharge to nursing unit, including transport.
You will effectively respond and perform in an emergency and usecritical thinking skills to perceive potential problem situationsand intervene to offset adverse effects. Qualifications – ExternalWhat qualifications you will need: Must be a graduate from anaccredited school of
Nursing:
Associate degree in Nursing or higheris required Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the statewhich you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RNlicense Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American RedCross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is requiredACLS required Minimum of 1-yearpreviousexperience of Critical Careor PACU Nursing is strongly preferred Basic Cardiac Life Supportmust be obtained within 90 days of employment start date NurseAssociate Degree Trident Health is a 445-bed HCA Healthcarehospital system comprised of two acute care hospitals, TridentMedical Center and Summerville Medical Center and threefreestanding emergency departments, Brighton Park Emergency, MoncksCorner Medical Center and Centre Pointe Emergency.
