Job Summary and Qualifications The PsychiatricRegistered Nurse for our department will provide clinical expertiseto ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role: Youwill contribute to quality nursing care through process improvementtechniques and multidisciplinary collaboration that demonstratespositive outcomes in the delivery of patient care. You will manageefficient flow of patients including screening, preparation forexam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing andadmissions. You will instruct patients and families regardingmedications and treatment instructions. You will maintain andreview patients’ records including posting tests and examinationresults. You will administer medications in accordance withphysician orders. You will incorporate knowledge of patient’s agespecific development and cultural diversity into the plan ofcare.

What Qualifications you will need: Must be a graduate from anaccredited school of

Nursing:

Associate’s Degree in Nursing orhigher is required Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in thestate which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-StateRN license A current American Heart Association (AHA) or AmericanRed Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required1-3 years’ experience as a registered nurse is preferred BehavioralHealth Experience is preferred CPI – Must be completed within 90days of hire Colleton Medical Center provides quality healthcareservices, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians andadvanced technology for more than 50 years.
