Performs routine circulating and/or scrub duties according to AORN standards and established policies and procedures of the department of surgery. Qualifications:
Education:
1. Must have South Carolina Registered Nurse license or multistate licensure from another Compact State within the prescribed guidelines of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
Experience:
1. One year of specialty area experience preferred.
Other Qualifications:
1. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required 2. BLS certification (American Heart Association certification only) required within 6 months of hire or transfer into the department. 3. ACLS certification (American Heart Association certification only) required within 6 months of hire or transfer into the department.
