JobSummary and Qualifications In collaboration with the patient, thepatient’s family, and other members of the health care team, theDialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, evaluating,planning, implementing and coordinating a treatment plan andachieving the goals of the nursing department. You serve as a keyposition of the interdependent team, and hold responsibility forachieving positive patient and departmental outcomes. What you willdo in this role: You will be specialized in aiding patients with kidney-relatedmedical problems You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility forassigned patients You will manage efficient flow of patient care includingscreening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care andcomfort, and arranging for admissions, testing and discharges You will maintain and review patients’ records includingposting tests and examination results You will administer medications in accordance with physicianorders You will instruct patients and families regarding medicationsand treatment plans You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (mayinclude phone triage when needed)What qualifications you will need: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of
