JobSummary and Qualifications In collaboration with the patient, thepatient’s family, and other members of the health care team, theCritical Care ICU Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible forassessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating atreatment plan and achieving the goals of the nursing department.

You serve as a key position of the interdependent team, and holdresponsibility for achieving positive patient and departmentoutcomes. What you will do in this role: You will understandpatients with critical illness and vent management. You will havethe ability to respond to Code Blue within the facility andinitiate protocol, special procedures and cardiac monitoring Youwill manage efficient flow of patients including screening,preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arrangingor testing and admissions You will instruct patients and familiesregarding medications and treatment instructions You will maintainand review patients’ records including posting tests andexamination results You will administer medications in accordancewith physician orders You will check rooms daily for necessarysupplies You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls(may include phone triage when needed) What qualifications you mayneed: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of
