JobSummary and QualificationsThe Operating Room Registered Nurse willprovide professional surgical nursing care to patients utilizingthe nursing process, collaborating with other members of the healthcare delivery team, including physicians, to assure quality healthcare. The Operating Room Nurse assumes the responsibility forensuring effective communication with the surgical technologists,the other Registered Nurses, the surgeons, the patients and theirfamilies, as well as the other members of the surgical team.

Whatyou will do in this role: You will provide assistance in emergencyprocedures as well as elective and scheduled cases You will workalongside surgical teams to ensure that patients receive the bestpossible care You will serve as a liaison between the surgical teamand the patients’ families You will be responsible for organizingsupplies needed for patients You will assess patients before,during, and after surgery and maintain a sterile operating room Youwill perform count procedures to protect patient from unintendedretained foreign objects as well as perform interventions necessaryto ensure the patients procedure is performed on the correct site,side, and level You will perform interventions throughout thesurgical procedure to maintain the status of the patientsgenitourinary, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, endocrine,respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological systems, and fluid,electrolyte, and acid-base balances at or above baseline levels Youwill administer medications in accordance with physician orders Youwill actively involve patient or designated support person indecisions affecting their post perioperative plan of care and therehabilitation processWhat qualifications you will need: Must be agraduate from an accredited school of

Nursing:
