Under limited supervision, you will deliver vital medical assistance and first aid to students in accordance with established school health program procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate student health records while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal mandates, submitting all necessary reports as required. Your role will be crucial in promoting a safe physical environment; you will maintain the health clinic, ensuring it is well-equipped to address the emergency and medical needs of our students. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing Licensed as a Registered Nurse Maintain Current South Carolina Registered Nursing License Preferred related nursing experience in a school environment. Current CPR Certification CPR and First Aid Trainer a plus. Proven ability to take initiative to be resourceful make sound nursing judgement. Knowledge of nursing policy and laws as it relates to the medical field in a K-12 school preferred. Ability to identify and “triage” immediate needs and provide required interventions. This position is for the 2025 – 2026 school year, follows the approved school calendar and is a 190 day teacher schedule.
