Position Overview :
Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab department. This is a clinical nursing travel position requiring expertise in cardiac care and a commitment to patient advocacy.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, cognitive, and socio-cultural needs. Plan, prioritize, and evaluate patient care with measurable outcomes, including family involvement. Exhibit clinical competence and adherence to departmental performance standards. Provide patient and family education while assessing the effectiveness of learning outcomes. Address ethical concerns in care delivery with respect for patient diversity and rights. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver and evaluate care. Advocate for patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality initiatives. Perform additional duties as required to ensure exceptional care delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Current RN license in South Carolina or a recognized NCSBN Compact State. ACLS and American Heart Association BLS certification (NRP required within 6 months for WIC services). Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN highly desired). Proficient in cardiac care procedures and sterile environments. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
