Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) About the Role Our family is seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for our medically complex two-year-old child. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity—ideal for nurses looking for PRN hours with meaningful, consistent work in a supportive home environment. We’re open to various schedule options, including weekends, weeknights, and weekdays , and can adapt based on the right candidate’s availability. The role includes up to 30 hours/week , but we are open to candidates interested in fewer hours. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive, and developmentally appropriate medical care in a home setting Administer medications and feeds, manage medical devices as needed (e.g., suction, pulse ox, etc.) Monitor vital signs and track symptoms or any changes in condition Offer support during therapy routines and coordinate with parents and medical teams Ensure accurate documentation of care provided Respond calmly and effectively in the event of medical needs or emergencies Maintain a nurturing, child-focused approach while supporting the family Requirements Active RN or LPN license in South Carolina Miniumium of 1 Year of pediatric experience Pediatric or medically complex care experience preferred (especially ages 0-5) Must sign up through [insert agency name or “a local home health agency”] Successful completion of background check and professional reference verification Current CPR certification (Pediatric preferred) Reliable transportation and ability to commit to agreed-upon hours Why This Opportunity?
