New Grad Registered Nurse 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Charleston, SC 29406 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated New Grad Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves working in an acute care setting, ensuring the well-being of patients through effective assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care. Current South Carolina RN License, or Multi-State Compact RN License Required. OR ability to obtain! Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor vital signs and document patient progress accurately in medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients with developmental disabilities and children. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. Participate in critical care transport as needed, ensuring safe transfer of patients. Conduct laboratory tests and assist in procedures such as cardiac catheterization when required. Stay updated on best practices in nursing care, including knowledge of anatomy and botulinum toxin treatment. Skills Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and children is highly desirable. Proficient knowledge of anatomy and critical care protocols. Ability to administer medications safely and effectively. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and cardiac catheterization techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
