Job Summary and Qualifications As a Post-Anesthesia CareUnit (PACU) RN, you will provide post-anesthesia nursing care tothe patient in the immediate post-anesthesia period andtransitioning the patient to Phase II recovery. You will beresponsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, andcoordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the PACUdepartment. What you will do in this role: You will provide prompt assessment of patient upon return fromOR and/or diagnostic procedure and document findings. You will provide safe nursing care and safe environment forpatients and families. You will transcribe and implement physician orders and documentall patient related information. You will administer medication and IV fluids accurately andsafely within nursing guidelines. You will update/revise plan of care as needed, based oncontinued assessment of patient. This includes providing care forpatient discharge to nursing unit, including transport. You will effectively respond and perform in emergency and usecritical thinking skills to perceive potential problem situationsand intervene to offset adverse effects.

What qualifications youwill need: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of

Nursing:
