The pediatric intensivecare RN collaborates with families, physicians, and otherhealthcare officials to determine the best course of patient careand recovery. Provide care for children and adolescents, usually up to theage of 18, with life-threatening or high-acuity conditions thatrequire constant monitoring. Prioritize careful monitoring of patients, and reportsregularly to the pediatrician, and family on the patient’scondition, and what they can expect in recovery.
