Job Summary and QualificationsWhat you will do in this role: You will understand patients with critical illness and ventmanagement. You will have the ability to respond to Code Bluewithin the facility and initiate protocol, special procedures andcardiac monitoring You will manage efficient flow of patients including screening,preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arrangingor testing and admissions You will instruct patients and families regarding medicationsand treatment instructions You will maintain and review patients’ records includingposting tests and examination results You will administer medications in accordance with physicianorders You will check rooms daily for necessary supplies You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (mayinclude phone triage when needed)What qualifications you will need: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of

Nursing:

Associate’s Degree in Nursing or higher is required Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which youpractice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American RedCross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider isrequired A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American RedCross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider ispreferred and required to be obtained within 6 months ofhire/transfer date A minimum of one year of acute critical care RN experiencerequired Trident Health is a 445-bed HCA Healthcare hospital systemcomprised of two acute care hospitals, Trident Medical Center andSummerville Medical Center and three freestanding emergencydepartments, Brighton Park Emergency, Moncks Corner Medical Centerand Centre Pointe Emergency.
