Description The RN Navigator’s primary function is to providedirect care to chemotherapy and infusion patients in the outpatientsetting. The RN has knowledge of oncology, chemotherapyadministration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood productadministration, pain management, knowledge and skills withport-a-caths and all venous access devices. The RN Navigatorapplies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinatesthe interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessmentfindings. The RN Navigator coordinates care for chemotherapy andinfusion patients in collaboration with social work, financialcounselors, chaplains, dietitians, providers, pharmacists,patients, and family members. Necessary RN skills includeassessing, educating, implementing, evaluating, and coordinatingtreatment plans. Providence caregivers are not simply valued

RequiredQualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
- Nursing. 2 years
- Med/surg Nursing experience preferred. 2 years
