Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values Responsible for On-Site staffing coverage for Nurse Practitioner, RN, CMA at On-Site Health Center through utilization of PRN staff or providing coverage themselves to include first, second, third or weekend shifts.
Rounds on assigned On-Site Health Center locations and provides report of visit to Clinic ManagerMaintains and Monitors needed Certifications for Drug and Alcohol Testing, Spirometry Testing and Audiometry Testing, CPR/BLS to self and staff of all Onsite locations and documents in teams.
Liaison for onsite locations and assist with Drug Screen/MRO process efficientlyAssists with training for all new hire onsite/health and wellness events staff both Full-Time and PRN of all duties required.
Trains and follows up with staff on the implementation of new protocols and assist to trouble shoot any barriers preventing implementation.
Conducts yearly competencies testing to all onsite staffAssist Onsite Health with maintaining and performing quality control on equipment/inventory and with proper disposal and removal of expired materials.
Assist in maintaining department teams staffing calendar for coverage and billing purposes.
Assist with scheduling and planning of the outside industry special events to include but not limited to health fairs, vision screens, drug screens, flu and other immunization campaignsProactively pulls and maintains contracted industry drug screening eligibility list, creates the pool and coordinates with the industry HR department for schedulingProactively schedules planned Vision Screenings Hepatitis Immunizations, etc with already contracted industries.
Works in collaboration with the health and wellness events team to plan and execute onsite events for our partners. Will assist in biometric screenings, vaccine events and other health and wellness events. Will obtain vital signs, conduct vision screening, venipuncture, UDS/BAT testing, hair collection, waived testing, audiometry, spirometry, EKG, respiratory fit tests, or any other required or requested testing.
Assure compliance with any regulatory requirementsMaintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
Ability to conduct waived testing and quality controls when needed.
Administers medications and treatment as directed by Physician or Standing Orders.
Collaborate with provider to assist with further medical treatment when needed. Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to collect blood samples from patients.
Identifies emergencies and provides immediate care within scope of practice.
Administers and documents according to department procedures in a manner that obtains the necessary medical information while maintaining confidentiality. Maintains stock and cleanliness of the supplies, department and equipment including their calibrations.
Identify and assist with the replacement or repair of any equipment needed.
Ability to document in EMR systems. Other duties as assigned by provider, Clinic Manager, and Assistant Director. Qualifications /
Training:
Phlebotomy SkillsWill obtain Drug Screening, Breath Alcohol Testing, Audiogram Testing and Spirometry Testing Certification provided by the department.
Nurse with clinical experience preferred, experience with biometric events strongly preferred.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
Must possess a valid SC RN license; BLS ,
