An esteemed healthcare facility in Northwestern South Carolina is seeking an Infection Control Nurse, offering an exciting opportunity to champion patient safety and public health. This role is ideal for a compassionate Infection Control RN expert driven by a commitment to preventing infections and promoting exceptional healthcare standards.
This highly respected Behavioral Health facility that is certified by The Joint Commission that cares for a mix of adolescents and adult patients is dedicated to patient-centered care and quality health services. The Infection Control Nurse will have prior Infection Control Nursing experience in any healthcare setting and will be able to hit the ground running with implementation of new infection control initiatives. The Infection Control Nurse will be able to work with the Department of Public Health on infection control initiatives.
The Infection Control Nurse will report directly to the Director of Nursing, fostering a direct line of communication and strategic implementation. The Infection Control RN may have the opportunity to serve in a Manager Infection Control role, overseeing approximately 10 housekeeping staff if that is determined to be the best practice for infection prevention in the hospital. A CIC Certification, Certified Infection Control, is preferred but not required.
