RN DirectorER Full Time Days Position Summary This role provides leadershipand support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible forall nursing and other designated patient care functions/serviceswithin the hospital organization. The role will assumeresponsibility for assisting in assessing, planning, coordinating,implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unitlevel. Role assumes 24/7 responsibility of Director’s assignedareas. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure highquality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinicalstaff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

This leader will have oversight over 3 locations: both the hospitaland free-standing ED in Fort Mill, as well as our new free-standingED in Indian Land opening later this year.

THE NURSING DIRECTOR ERCANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION,LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Active and currentregistered nurse license in the state of residence/practice. Hashighly effective interpersonal and communication skills, provenleadership ability and hospital operational ability, and ability toserve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline ofnursing.

Education:

Required:

Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Preferred:

Master’s of Science in nursing.

Experience:

Required:

2years of progressive management experience in a hospitalenvironment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/relatedposition.

Certifications:

Required:

Currently licensed, certified,or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulationin state of practice or policy. AHA BLS.
