The RN Periop Coordinator is also responsible for adequate and appropriate staff assignments based on the needs of the surgical case. The RN Periop Coordinator will collaborate to work with other Nursing Departments.
The coordinator will provide constructive feedback and direction to CTMs and be responsible for administering equitable and objective-constructive feedback for the CTM yearly evaluation.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education:
Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) required. Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) with American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
