We are currently recruiting for PRN Float Pool RNs to work in the midlands metropolitan area. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for insuring and providing quality and consistent resident care including medical applications/treatments and/or medications as well as coordinating interdisciplinary plan(s) of care and interpreting this level of care for individual Residents based on their specific needs. Responsible for supervising nursing staff on assigned hall/unit. The Float pool RN will work between our two midlands area facilities, The Heritage at Lowman and Rice Estate.

General information:

PRN status Must work a minimum of 24 hours per week Must work a minimum of 1 shift at The Heritage at Lowman and 1 shift at Rice Estate each week

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensed to practice as an RN in the State of South Carolina Must maintain current SC RN license and CPR certification Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and authority when circumstances warrant such action Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to residential care Must possess leadership, supervisory and authority ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition Come join our team and find personal and professional satisfaction as you share your talents and skills with us.
