We are dedicated to changing the patient experience and are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with expertise in wound care to join our dynamic medical team. Our team goes above and beyond to deliver the experience each patient deserves.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective wound care. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on wound prevention, care techniques, and self-management. Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with advancements in wound care.
Requirements:
Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner. Current state NP license and certification. Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on wound care. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Travel will be required to provide onsite and mobile wound care treatment
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification). Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Knowledge of the latest wound care products and technologies.
