Position Overview:
This position is for a Surgical Step Down (SSU) ICU Registered Nurse. The unit handles trauma-related injuries, surgical recovery, and ventilator-dependent patients. patient ratio of 1:3. The unit averages 20 patients daily with 21 total beds.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU and IICU stepdown experience Experience in large teaching hospital settings Ventilator experience required Experience with trauma care (head injuries, spinal cord injuries)
