TheNew Nurse Graduate provides specialized nursing care at one ofDCI’s in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units as part ofa patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care andthe highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.
Schedule:
Potential fulltime shifts vary from four 10-hour shiftsor three 12-hour shifts and are set upon hiring. In-Center RNs haveSundays off; no overnight shifts.

ResponsibilitiesWhat You Can Expect:
DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive educationprogram, including classroom group sessions, job shadowing, andone-on-one skills training Monitor patients during dialysis,assessing and communicating changes with physician and familiesPrepare dialysis machine and treatment supplies and ensure qualitystandards are met Perform hemodialysis treatments per facilitypolicies and procedures Ongoing patient education, training andhealth coaching, including relevant documentation Administer andchart all prescribed medications under supervision of registerednurse Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chartreviews Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals Assistin medication inventory maintenance Contribute to training newstaff members as directed Additional tasks as requested
