What You Will Do:

This role requires ahighly skilled and knowledgeable RN preferably with more than4years registered nurse experience.

Cardiac monitoring interpretationis required. Independently provide and coordinates care provide topatients within a clinical specialty. Serves as a fully effectiveand participative member of the multidisciplinary patient careservices team. Demonstrates and models the full range of nursingprofessional practice in both care provided and in participationdevelopment of strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfactionwith service and cost effectiveness at the unit level. Strive toprovide an environment where patients, families and colleaguescollaborate in the delivery of care. Demonstrate the ability tofloat independently toaminimum of four areaswith minimal assistancefrom permanent staff.

Qualifications Education:

Associate’s degree in nursing is required. Bachelor of Science inNursing (BSN) is preferred.•The BSN must be obtained within five(5) years from the date of hire into or transfer into thisposition. Those employees hired prior to July 1, 2018 will begrandfathered and not required to obtain the BSN.

Experience:

Atleast 12 months solid experience in at least two areas below. Medical Surgical Step down IMC ICU Emergency Department PACUCertification/Licensure Must have current RN license in the state of Maryland. Successful completion of a refresher course within past 6months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5years. Professional certifications are highly encouraged. Must meet all unit specific certification requirements: (PALS,NRP, NCI) American Heart Association (AHA) BLS andACLSrequired uponhire. RNs with ED, Peds, PACU experience – PALS is required. RNs with L&D, MBU, and Peds – NRP is required. Maintains all Clinical Nurse I core expectations. Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEOguidelines.
