Unit:
At Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC),the 3rd West unit is a 52-bed department that serves a diversepatient population, including medical-surgical, oncology andpediatric patients. Nurses on 3rd West have opportunities toadvance their skills with training in pediatric care andchemotherapy certification. The unit operates with two chargenurses per shift to ensure smooth patient care and staff support.
Our goal is to maintain a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with acollaborative team approach that includes LPNs and other precise,reliable diagnostic information to guide patient care and improvecardiovascular health.
JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for planning,directing, providing and evaluating nursing care for patients usingcritical thinking, judgment and leadership skills
- Goodcommunicator and is open to feedback with patient/support system,charge nurse, MDs, supervisor and other members of the health careteam.
- Performs a number of other nursing duties that includecharting, medications, use of equipment, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Current and Valid License as a TN or Compact State Registered NurseRequired
- 1 Year of Related Experience Preferred
