This position is responsible forproviding hands on resident care, proper and timely administrationof medications and treatments, accurate verbal and written reportsand rapid response to any/all emergency situations. POSITION SUMMARY
: Responsiblefor delivering person centered care based on the needs andinterests of residents and members while preserving their dignityand quality of life.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Performs professionaland restorative nursing services which include, but not limited to,resident assessments, recording of vital signs, administeringmedications and treatments. Keeps timely documentation of writtenreports and verbal reports ensuring that quality care is provided.
Interacts with the resident’s physician, pharmacist and medicalpersonnel as needed. Assist residents with activities of dailyliving as follows in the guidelines as outlined in the ResidentCare Plan including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene,and mobility. Participates in and attend all required in-servicetraining and education sessions as scheduled. Other duties asassigned.

Full PhysicalDemands, Work Environment, and Expected Hours of Work:
The physicaldemands described here are representative of those that must be metby an employee to successfully perform the essential functions ofthis job. This position is very active and requires frequentstanding, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and climbing. Thisposition will be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. andability to push up to 250 pounds independently. The individual mustuse proper body mechanics to assist residents in their dailyliving. This position regularly requires long hours and frequentnight and weekend work.
TRAVEL:
No travel is expected althoughoccasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuingeducation opportunities, emergency situations, and other companyfunctions.
E DUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- College oruniversity degree desired.
- Current state licensure as aRegistered Nurse.
- Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid
- Twoyears’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to read,write, speak and understand English fluently.
- Ability to meet orexceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software andoffice equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow directions asgiven.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
