out of 5 stars Rock Hill, SC 29732 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with critical cardiovascular conditions. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the CVICU setting. Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in their condition promptly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide advanced nursing care for patients requiring acute care, including airway management and tube feeding. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform procedures such as suturing and ostomy care as required. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. Uphold high standards of behavioral health support for patients experiencing psychological challenges related to their medical condition. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Previous experience in critical care or acute care settings is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy and cardiovascular systems is essential. Familiarity with CT imaging procedures is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
