$2,250 weekly ($27.89/hr; $41.83/OT; $1,246 stipend)

Hours:

36 weekly hours (3 x 12)

10-13 week duration Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work within a teaching hospital that serves as a Level I Trauma Center, offering opportunities to engage in diverse medical specialties including emergency medicine, infectious disease care, ophthalmology, and hospice palliative medicine. Your expertise in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation will be vital to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures with precision and care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans. Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team. Participate in emergency response situations within the ER setting. Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of physiology and clinical practices relevant to nursing. Experience in emergency medicine or working within a Level I Trauma Center is preferred. Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is advantageous. Previous experience in infectious disease care or hospice palliative medicine is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach patients effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
