Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-qualitypatient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through thecompassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge.

Working under general supervision, this role promotes professionalnursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursingprocess and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care inassigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct andproper care needed. Analyzes patient information, including medicalhistory, diagnostic results, and current condition, to developindividualized nursing care plans. Prepares nursing processes, suchas medication administration and treatments to providecomprehensive and effective patient care. Reconciles medicalrecords to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standardsand organizational policies. Evaluates patient response tointerventions and identifies any additional interventions needed tomeet defined goals of care. Collaborates with interdisciplinarycare team to ensure effective care planning. Performs other dutiesas assigned.

Associate’sDegree in

Nursing Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE

Required:

1 year as a

Registered Nurse Preferred:

1year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursingorganizations

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING

Required:

Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS(CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
