Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to the Nurse Supervisor and the Executive Director of Student Services
Knowledge of Chronic Pediatric Health Conditions, Diabetes Management, G-Tube Feedings, Catheterizations of school age children
Provides medical services for students and staff
Assists with health screening programs, ETCH Telehealth Services, and Immunization Compliance Overview
This position is stationed at Secret City Academy but travels to other schools to fill in when school nurses are off work
Performs other duties relevant to a school nurse position in a school clinic setting
QUALIFICATIONS
Active RN License in the State of Tennessee
ASN required but a BSN is preferred
Previous school nurse, pediatric or public health experience preferred
