out of 5 stars 907 East Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37804 JOB SUMMARY The RN will work closely with the medical staff in evaluating cardiac patients, and performing cardiac diagnostic test which includes: treadmill stress testing, Nuclear Medicine stress testing, and transesphageal echocardiograms. The RN will also assist the EKG technicians with doing EKGs, and putting on holter monitors as well as scanning the holter monitor cards and creating a preliminary report for the physicians to read.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and/or experience: Registered Nurse with current Tennessee License.
BLS/ACLS
certified. 2-4 years clinical nursing with emphasis in the care of cardiac patients. Must have completed a cardiac arrhythmias course.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology as well as cardiac terminology needed. Knowledge of Cardiac medication.
Skills:
Requires active listening, to give full attention to what the patients say, ask or request. Excellent verbal communication to interact with patients and families as well as co-workers and physicians. Must have good critical thinking skills. Basic computer skills. Requires good IV skills.

Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships, understand and follow oral and written instructions, accept responsibility for accuracy and responsiveness
