In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients entering our facility, ensuring that all medical records are accurately maintained and compliant with HIPAA regulations. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients, particularly in the areas of geriatrics and home community care. Duties Conduct thorough admissions assessments for new patients, including medical history and current health status. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans. Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care processes. Ensure proper documentation of ICD-10 codes for billing and insurance purposes. Assist in sterile processing and preparation for procedures as required. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including dermal fillers and esthetic laser treatments when applicable. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary, particularly for inpatient settings. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Previous experience in geriatrics or home community care is preferred. Familiarity with medical records management systems and ICD-10 coding is essential. Experience with sterile processing techniques is a plus. Knowledge of esthetic procedures such as dermal fillers and laser treatments is desirable but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
