Ongoing Job Description:
Looking for an experienced CVOR Tech First Assist for a travel contract at Vanderbilt University Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center in Nashville, TN 37232. Must be certified, have 2+ years of CVOR experience, and proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting with Hemapro 2 or Vasoview 6 systems. Must be able to scrub for surgery and handle various specialties, including heart transplant surgery.
Required Qualifications:
Surgical Tech First Assist certification (NBSTA)
2+ years of CVOR and heart transplant experience
Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting with Hemapro 2 or Vasoview 6 systems
Scrub experience and ability to respond to on-call (30-minute response)
Must have COVID vaccination or exemption
Facility:
17-bed OR, Level 1 trauma center
Variety of specialties: neuro, trauma, general, ortho, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant
